This is a concept for the City of Austin’s entry into the Google Fiber competition.

I converted this client’s existing static site into WordPress.

This client was looking to redesign their corporate site and wanted to see my ideas. My changes included using icons to increase the visual interest of the page while making the information more digestible, reducing the nesting level of the drop down menu, and increasing the visual importance of the contact form in a bid to increase lead generation.

This is second redesign for this client. Previous designs were static and very simple with little user interaction. The new design’s goal was to get the customers more involved. One of the most popular sections of the previous site was a photo gallery of people who frequent the restaurant. In this new design, it is now possible for customers to upload their own photos, and to comment on the photos of others.

The new design in combination with a social media marketing campaign have created an increased amount of traffic to the site while reducing the bounce rate.
