What I Do
I am a web designer/developer with extensive experience developing websites and marketing pieces in fast-paced environments.
My Background
I was born and raised in the small town of Trumann, AR. After graduating high school, I started attending Arkansas State University. I majored in Graphic Design, but after getting a taste of designing for the web, I was hooked! I quickly changed my major to Digital Media and Design which was geared toward web related design.
I graduated in December of 2007. Shortly thereafter, I landed a job with UnityWorks! Media in Bloomington, MN. After nearly 2 years, I left to pursue work with more web development opportunities. After a few months of contract and freelance work, I started at a new position as a web designer/developer at a real estate data solutions provider. After about 10 months, I took an opportunity that would allow me to work as a freelancer while simultaneously moving to a warmer climate. I moved back to Arkansas and have been working as a freelancer ever since.
I am now looking to move further south to Austin, TX and to continue on in my career as a web designer/ front-end developer.
What Else?
When not designing or developing, you can find me playing the latest PS3 game with my boyfriend. I also enjoy being outdoors with my dog, Buddy. We go camping, fishing, and geocaching.
